The VFSI shaker product line is unique and not a copy of any other shaker in the industry. At VFSI we use only high quality components and welding practices when fabricating each shaker.

In addition to quality materials and fabrication the VFSI line of shakers have outstanding performance. With over 6g's of vibration acceleration and 30ft2 of screening area, the VFSI Orbital 3000 has one of the highest performance ratings in the industry. The Orbital product line has many beneficial features such as having one of the lowest weir height in the industry. Vortex Fluid Systems, Inc. (VFSI) was incorporated in 1995 by Grant Young and in 1998 began to design and build high-performance equipment for the drilling and mining industry. Prior to this Grant spent 16 years working for Amoco Research in the area of solids liquid separation and is the author of numerous technical papers. In 1994 Grant became an SPE Distinguished Lecturer. Grant is best known for his work in solid-liquid and oil-water separation using hydrocyclones. Grant has 21 patents for hydrocyclone and shaker design.
Orbital 3000

The Orbital 3000 uses orbital motion for extended screen life and excellent conveyance. The large screen area (30 ft2) and high g forces (over 6 g’s) result in exceptional performance. For more features and information visit the Orbital 3000 page.
Orbital 3750 Industrial

The Orbital 3750 Industrial shaker has a modular feed manifold which distributes the flow at the feed end of the shaker. The underflow is collected in a cone shaped pan with a single central discharge.
Orbital 3000 Dual

The Orbital 3000 Dual mounts two Orbital 3000 baskets on a single base. This configuration has several advantages, such as faster rig setup and tear down. Orbital 3000 Triple

The Orbital 3000 Triple mounts three Orbital 3000 baskets on a single base. This configuration has several advantages, such as faster rig setup and tear down. Orbital Mud Cleaner

The Orbital three panel mud cleaner uses orbital motion for extended screen life and excellent conveyance along with 10 high performance hydrocyclones operating at a flow rate of 1000 gpm. In addition to excellent performance the Orbital Mud Cleaner has a small footprint. Being only 7' 6" long and 5' 1" wide allows walkway access to the mud cleaner when mounted on rigs with limited space.
Orbital Drying Shaker

The Orbital 3000 Drying Shaker (3000 DS) is offered on an open frame base. While in operation solids flow directly on a metal plate at the feed end of the basket. This eliminates the problem many shakers have of solids plugging the feed. The Orbital 3000DS also features jacks at the feed and discharge end of the shaker.
Orbital Drying Shaker with Sump

The Orbital 3000 Drying Shaker (3000DS) has a ten barrel sump which reduces reservoir pump cycles. The Orbital 3000DS with 10 barrel sump also features jacks at the feed and discharge end of the shaker. The grated walkways on each side of the unit provide a convenient height to change screens and monitor performance.
Orbital 3000 Horizontal Boring

Horizontal boring applications require shakers capable of handling high solids laden fluids. The VFSI Orbital 3000HB has exceptionally good solids conveyance. As a result, solids do not pile up on the shaker. This greatly improves fluid handling capacity and screen life.
